From 21 to 24 June 2023, a training workshop was held in Mbankomo for Road Fund’s staff on the management control function within the framework of the programme budget.
The main objective of this seminar was to make the Road Fund management control function more operational, with a view to improving the performance management process.
Specifically, participants learned about: (i) backgroung information on management control, (ii) tools used in management control (for data collection, analysis, synthesis and presentation), (iii) the role of management control in the production of technical documents in the Planning Programming Budgeting System (strategic expenditure framework, administrative performance projects, annual performance reports, etc.), (iv) the establishment and organisation of a management dialogue.
In his opening speech, the Road Fund’s Administrator, Aubin ESSAIE MOUSSA, invited his staff to be fully involved in the exchanges and practical works. He also urged trainers to share out maximum knowledge, so as to enable the Fund’s staff to get a better grasp of the structure’s performance management process.
