The Road Fund is administered by the following bodies:
- The Management Committee
- The Administrator

In addition to the bodies mentioned above, the Road Fund has three (3) Divisions :
- The Technical Expertise Division is in charge of monitoring contracts, processing estimates, visiting construction sites, following up bonding guarantees and technical audits;
- The Control of Operations Division which is competent in mobilizing and distributing resources among authorizing officers, controlling commitments of authorizing officers, following up the drafting of programming, drafting the recurrent budget and carrying out preliminary studies for issuing visas to contracts by the Administrator.
- The Administration and Finance Division is competent in account, tax and treasury as well as human resource management;
The staff of the Fund must not, under any circumstances, be employees or receive remuneration in any form whatsoever, or have a direct or indirect interest in a company in the road maintenance sector in Cameroon.
Conflicts between the above-mentioned staff and the Fund shall fall within the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts.
In any event, the total number of staff of the Fund may not exceed twenty-five (25) persons.

The Road Fund in a few figures
From inception to today, the Road Fund has mobilized more than CFA Francs 852 billion stemming from the road user charge (which is a fraction of the Special Tax on Petroleum Products), road tolls, proceeds from weighing station fines and axle tax. These resources enable the Road Fund to finance road maintenance related- contract services.
Concerning the payment of contract services, more than CFA Francs 700 billion was injected into the economy to the benefit of close to 1 500 PBW enterprises, with more than 8000 projects financed.
